Privacy Policy

How we protect your family’s information

We handle every detail—clinical notes, intake forms, billing records—with the same care we give the families in our Eagle River clinic.

Our privacy promise

Updated May 2024

Aurora Behavior Services complies with HIPAA, the Alaska Personal Information Protection Act, and other state-specific rules governing developmental disability services. We only gather information needed to deliver ABA therapy and keep families informed. If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and share a notice during your next clinic visit or via email.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to deliver clinic-based ABA services with care and compliance.

How We Use Information

Information guides therapy planning, ensures safe operations, and keeps communication clear.

Sharing & Disclosure

We only disclose information with your consent or as required by law.

Safeguarding Data

We layer technical and procedural controls to keep clinic information secure.

Family Rights & Choices

Your family stays in control of the information we keep.

Alaska-specific protections

Alaska extends additional safeguards for health and developmental disability records. We follow state guidance when sharing information with schools, consulting providers, or community organizations, and we document consent for every release. Telehealth sessions use encrypted, HIPAA-compliant tools, and we provide families with tips for creating a private session space at home.
